      Many know of the young Anne of Green Gables. However, many fewer know that Montgomery continued Anne's saga through her adult years. This work, the final installment, concerns Anne and Gilber's youngest child, daughter Rilla. It is the summer of 1914, and Rilla is a typically frivolous adolescent girl of 15. However, as the war engulfs her world, she becomes a woman, who must embrace triumphs and tragedies. Barbara Caruso gives a winsome performance in keeping with the heroine.
