        UK-based self-taught artist Chandramohan transitions her watercolor creations from the digital space into her first book. An aerospace engineer by day, she shares her techniques on social media and her artistic knowledge through Skillshare, an online platform devoted to learning various creative arts. In this book, she advocates for investing in high-quality art supplies and watercolor paper and teaches readers what to look for when shopping for these items. She also encourages readers to create a permanent workspace to practice their artwork. Specific brush types and brands recommended in the book are easily found through reputable online retailers, so it doesn't matter where readers live. Chandramohan also explains--in an accessible manner--the roles of composition and perspective and the basics of watercolor properties, color theory, and painting and blending techniques. The book includes 14 step-by-step projects for vivid landscapes to inspire budding artists.
