It isn't long before Oliver marries Marlene, is swindled out of his new-found fortune, and is left for dead. Oliver survives and becomes consumed with a thirst for revenge. His plan is to lose enough weight so that Dane and Marlene won't recognize him and then give them a taste of their own medicine. Will Oliver go through with his plans, or will he be swayed by his housekeeper, Joelle, who lives by faith in God and "the golden rule"? A refreshingly different story from a veteran author ("Edge of Honor"), this fast-moving tale will have readers rooting for its offbeat hero. Morris lives in Alabama.
