      Using slight vocal differences for each of the characters, narrator Summer Morton slowly and effectively reels out this suspenseful story of FBI profiler Samantha Dark. When a case goes seriously wrong, Dark goes into hiding in a small Alabama town. But a serial killer is on the loose, and Samantha is not as safe as she thinks--from him and perhaps from someone who admires his work. Morton is especially adept at her portrayals of some of the secondary characters, including their Southern accents, and the voice of the the elusive, twisted, and sophisticated killer.
